Image Captions are used for several purposes:
- To indicate a student's choice in the Assessment if there is no additional answer text provided in the teacher only view on the “Results” page
- Accessibility through screen readers and other tools
- Discoverability for Easel Assessments in search
Note: Image captions are not directly shown to students.
When filling out a caption for your images, a brief descriptive summary of the image instead of a file name will work best. See below for an example:
